Join Tailor as a Forward-Deployed Product Designer to bridge the gap between customer needs and product development. You will design intuitive experiences for Headless ERP implementations, turning specific client requirements into scalable UI patterns and contributing to the core product roadmap.
What you'll do
- Lead product design for customer deployments and internal workflows
- Translate complex operational requirements into wireframes and prototypes
- Collaborate with engineers and PMs to align design with implementation
- Identify recurring patterns to improve the design system and UI libraries
- Distill customer insights into strategic product themes and features
- Facilitate design reviews with customers and internal stakeholders
What you'll need
- 5+ years of product design experience in SaaS or enterprise software
- Strong ability to design complex, workflow-heavy products
- Comfortable working directly with customers and leading discovery sessions
- Experience turning ambiguous problems into clear design specifications
- Technical fluency to prototype with coding agents and understand APIs
- Based in the United States or within its timezone
Nice to have
- Experience with ERP, supply chain, or finance systems
- Background in low-code, no-code, or developer-first platforms
- Consulting or customer onboarding experience
- History of contributing to design systems or component libraries
