Join Nen Creative as a freelance Motion Designer to help tech clients launch bold ideas through motion. You will create launch videos, product explainers, and brand campaigns in a fully remote, flexible environment.
Collaborate with producers, editors, and directors to deliver high-quality 2D, UI, and typography animations. This project-based engagement allows you to scale hours based on workload while owning projects from concept to final delivery.
What you'll do
- Design and animate motion for launch videos, commercials, and social content
- Create work spanning 2D, UI, typography, compositing, and edit-driven animation
- Translate storyboards into motion that matches intended tone and pacing
- Collaborate with producers, editors, designers, and directors on creative execution
- Iterate quickly on feedback from creative leads and clients
- Balance speed and quality across multiple simultaneous projects and deadlines
- Refine work to ensure exceptional craft and attention to detail
What you'll need
- 3 to 5 years of experience as a motion designer in studio or agency settings
- Strong reel showing range in product, UI motion, and brand work
- Expert proficiency in After Effects
- Comfortable using Figma and DaVinci Resolve
- Strong fundamentals in type, layout, color, composition, and timing
- Clear point of view on motion principles like easing and transitions
- Ability to take feedback and iterate without losing momentum
- Experience working in fast-moving startup or agency environments
