You will engineer core web experiences for proactive AI applications, focusing on chat, document editing, and scheduling tools. Working with product and design teams, you will integrate streaming AI responses and real-time collaboration features into seamless user workflows.
What you'll do
- Build major web experiences across Chat, Notes, Calendar, Docs, and Sheets
- Develop complex interactions like real-time messaging and collaborative editing
- Create reusable frontend architecture and components for consistent application behavior
- Integrate streaming AI responses and model-driven experiences into product workflows
- Ensure frontend performance, responsiveness, reliability, and accessibility across devices
- Collaborate with product and design to move ideas from prototype to production quickly
What you'll need
- Strong experience building complex production web apps with React and TypeScript
- Deep understanding of frontend architecture, state management, and browser APIs
- Experience building highly interactive products like chat, docs, or calendars
- Familiarity with real-time systems, WebSockets, streaming APIs, or collaborative interfaces
- Strong product and UI judgment with attention to interaction details
- Ability to independently own features from technical design through to production
