Join the team building the infrastructure that enables Bitcoin to function as a global payment network. You will focus on Terminal Web, the primary tool node operators use to manage liquidity, channels, and swaps.
This product engineering role requires taking features from concept to production. You will design user flows, integrate with Lightning services, and ensure high reliability for autonomous AI agents and human users alike.
What you'll do
- Ship end-to-end features for Terminal Web to help users operate Lightning nodes
- Build full-stack components including Next.js SSR, React, and MobX stores
- Integrate with LND, litd, Lightning Node Connect, Loop, and Pool services
- Write production-quality tests using Jest and Playwright to ensure reliability
- Use AI development tools for exploration, implementation, and refactoring
- Work autonomously to translate ambiguous requirements into working software
What you'll need
- Proven history of shipping production-quality software with a visible portfolio
- Strong experience with TypeScript, React, and modern full-stack architecture
- Proficiency in server-side rendering, API clients, and state management
- Daily use of AI-native tools like Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor is mandatory
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction and clear communication
- Strong engineering practices including automated testing and code review
- Focus on product quality, edge cases, and failure modes beyond simple API wiring
Nice to have
- Experience in wallet, payments, fintech, or developer tooling products
- Familiarity with Bitcoin, Lightning Network, LND, litd, or Taproot Assets
- Experience with WebAssembly-backed browser integrations
- Knowledge of MobX, Emotion, Dexie, Jest, or Playwright
- Go experience or comfort reading backend services and protobuf APIs
- Background in small, high-growth companies requiring versatile skill sets
