As a Full-Stack Engineer, you will spend approximately 70% of your time on backend services and 30% on frontend features. This role suits developers who enjoy deep backend work but want to remain involved in end-to-end feature implementation.
What you'll do
- Design and maintain backend services using Python and Node.js
- Manage APIs, business logic, and data flows with PostgreSQL and MongoDB
- Develop frontend features to deliver complete product experiences
- Build and maintain web scraping and data ingestion pipelines
- Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards in data handling
- Use AI development tools like Cursor and Copilot daily
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams on scalable solutions
- Optimize system performance, reliability, and maintainability
What you'll need
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Full-Stack or Backend Engineering
- Strong backend expertise with Python and/or Node.js
- Proficiency with PostgreSQL and MongoDB databases
- Comfortable working with modern JavaScript frontend codebases
- Interest or experience in web scraping and high-volume data systems
- Familiarity with modern AI-assisted development workflows
- Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of tasks
- Must be currently based in Latin America
- Fluent in French and English (spoken and written)
Nice to have
- Experience with OCR, computer vision, or document processing
- Background in automation-heavy or data-centric products
- Previous work in startup or scale-up environments
