Fundable is a startup data platform that aggregates company, investor, and funding information to simplify research for investors. You will lead the evolution of their data infrastructure from serial containerized processes to a robust, concurrent, and event-driven architecture.
As the owner of the data platform, you will handle everything from initial architecture to production operations. Your work will ensure high volumes of data from APIs, webhooks, and scraping are transformed into trusted records for downstream products.
What you'll do
- Build concurrent ingestion systems for APIs, webhooks, files, and web scraping with rate limit handling.
- Orchestrate scheduled workflows and historical backfills using tools like Airflow or Dagster.
- Implement event-driven intake with Pub/Sub or Cloud Tasks, including retries and dead-letter queues.
