As the first engineer in a lean marketing team, you will design and build the growth stack rather than just maintaining it. You will automate manual processes and unlock unused data across paid marketing, lifecycle management, and sales handovers. Your work directly supports business outcomes by enabling faster experimentation and personalized customer journeys.
What you'll do
- Automate triggers, segments, and workflows in ActiveCampaign and Salesforce
- Sync audiences and conversion data between CRM and ad platforms
- Connect product events and transaction history to BigQuery warehouse
- Build reusable automation capabilities for paid, lifecycle, and content teams
- Replace manual reporting and list building with LLM-based tools
- Implement human review steps and holdout tests before scaling automations
- Enable fast experimentation with reusable test setups and measurement tools
What you'll need
- Experience building production marketing or growth automation systems
- Proficiency with APIs, webhooks, and tools like n8n, Make, Zapier, or Clay
- Strong skills in Python or TypeScript and SQL are highly valued
- Understanding of ad platform data, audiences, and attribution limits
- Experience shipping LLM-based automation into real workflows
- Ability to measure outcomes and prioritize working use cases over perfect platforms
- Fluent English communication skills
