As Head of Research & Development, you will own long-term capability building for Rwazi’s decision intelligence platform. You will explore, prototype, and formalize new reasoning architectures, signal modeling techniques, and decision automation frameworks that will power future versions of the system.
This position operates independently of short-term feature delivery, focusing instead on structural opportunities in AI-assisted judgment. You will translate abstract research into reusable system primitives and advise executive leadership on technical differentiation strategies.
What you'll do
- Identify unsolved reasoning challenges within the domain
- Develop conceptual models for higher-order AI reasoning
- Build experimental prototypes to test new architectures
- Formalize reasoning patterns into structured logic frameworks
- Create reusable primitives for Product and Engineering teams
- Advise CEO on long-term technical differentiation strategy
- Define standards for experimentation rigor and validation
What you'll need
- Deep systems thinking and formal reasoning ability
- Experience designing structured decision frameworks
- Strong understanding of AI systems or computational reasoning
- Ability to translate abstract research into usable components
- Comfort operating autonomously at high strategic altitude
- Demonstrated work on complex, ambiguous problems
