As an Infrastructure Architect, you will bridge the gap between Epistemix’s product architecture and diverse client IT landscapes. You will handle hands-on deployment, ensuring security and repeatability while integrating with complex data and identity systems.
The team builds simulation tools that help leaders in public health and enterprise strategy visualize outcomes before acting. You will ensure these tools deliver immediate value by navigating varied technical environments and compliance standards.
What you'll do
- Design technical strategies for integrating the platform into client environments
- Deploy solutions using Terraform, Kubernetes, and Docker with a focus on AWS
- Interface with client IT teams to provide architectural guidance during implementation
- Ensure deployments meet SOC 2, ISO 27001, and HIPAA compliance standards
- Manage setups in public cloud, private cloud, and on-premise environments
- Develop Python automation tooling for streamlined deployment processes
What you'll need
- 8+ years of industry experience with 3+ years in architectural implementation
- Expert-level proficiency in Python, Fast API, or Django
- Strong experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, and Docker
- Deep knowledge of AWS infrastructure and general mastery of GCP
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field
- Experience managing HIPAA privacy rules and achieving SOC 2 attestation
- Proven track record with Snowflake, Databricks, or similar data warehouses
- Experience supporting deployments in on-premise or private cloud settings
Nice to have
- Familiarity with distributed computing libraries like Ray, Modin, or Pandas
- Knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, and React
- Experience leveraging generative AI tools in engineering workflows
