TELUS Digital seeks a Senior Manager to lead solution architecture for data and AI initiatives. You will connect pre-sales efforts with technical delivery, designing scalable data pipelines and ML architectures. The position involves guiding client discovery, estimating resources, and ensuring technical solutions align with business goals.
What you'll do
- Lead scope definition and technical design during pre-sales phases
- Architect scalable data pipelines and machine learning frameworks
- Guide technical discovery projects using consulting methods
- Provide team composition and resource planning estimates
- Support existing project teams with specialized data expertise
- Select platforms such as Databricks or Snowflake for clients
- Translate complex AI concepts for executive stakeholders
What you'll need
- Deep experience with cloud data platforms like Databricks or Snowflake
- Proficiency in cloud AI services such as AWS Bedrock or Azure ML
- Strong background with AWS, Azure, or GCP backends
- Expertise in ETL processes, data lakes, and real-time analytics
- Knowledge of MLOps principles and CI/CD tools for models
- Familiarity with Docker containerization and Kubernetes orchestration
- Experience in software estimation and project planning
- Ability to discuss budgets and fees in commercial settings
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Nice to have
- Experience in agency or client-service software delivery environments
- Knowledge of agentive AI systems or large language models
- Passion for agile methodologies applied to data and ML
