Join BJAK as an iOS Engineer to craft the native mobile experience for a leading Southeast Asian insurance and finance platform. You will collaborate with product, design, backend, and AI teams to ship reliable features that simplify complex financial tasks for real users.
The team values clean code, fast performance, and high product quality. You will own app stability and use production feedback to continuously improve the user experience across onboarding, payments, and rewards.
What you'll do
- Build native iOS features for onboarding, payments, transfers, and AI journeys
- Optimize complex financial flows for speed and simplicity on mobile
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams from concept to production release
- Own app quality metrics including performance, crash rates, and stability
- Integrate APIs and secure data handling with a focus on reliability
- Use analytics and customer behavior data to refine features post-launch
What you'll need
- Strong native iOS development experience using Swift
- Proven track record of shipping apps used by real customers
- Proficiency in SwiftUI, UIKit, async/await, and iOS architecture
- Strong product sense with attention to UX beyond just screen building
- Ability to debug production issues and enhance app reliability
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and moving quickly in a startup
- Fluent English communication skills for global team collaboration
