Join Teleport as an IT Systems Engineer to help secure infrastructure for an AI-driven world. You will administer the core IT stack, create new workflows, and collaborate with engineering teams to dogfood internal products like Teleport Identity and Policy.
The team values autonomy and asynchronous work, focusing on modern tooling and novel approaches to traditional IT problems. You will balance strategic automation projects with hands-on support tasks.
What you'll do
- Administer core IT stack including Okta, Jamf, Google Workspace, and Chrome Enterprise
- Create workflows and integrations across internal systems and platforms
- Harden macOS endpoints and secure SaaS services
- Build IT workflow automation tools using Go, Temporal, and Kubernetes
- Collaborate with engineering on dogfooding Teleport Identity and Policy
- Govern and secure corporate generative AI usage
- Provide IT support to internal users via helpdesk when needed
What you'll need
- Strong knowledge of Okta, Jamf, Google Workspace, Zoom, and Slack
- Hands-on experience administering and hardening macOS endpoints
- Deep understanding of corporate IT identity, automation, and security
- Experience building with IaC/Terraform and CI/CD with GitOps
- Scripting experience with shell and object-oriented programming
- Experience with Linux systems administration and engineering
- Willingness to handle traditional IT tasks and internal helpdesk support
