Eloquent AI develops multimodal autonomous systems that execute complex workflows with human-level precision. As a Lead Engineer, you will guide technical direction while remaining hands-on across the stack to build scalable applications for regulated industries.
What you'll do
- Design and build full-stack applications for enterprise AI workflows
- Oversee code quality and review work of other engineers
- Provide technical guidance and architectural direction
- Develop high-performance front-end interfaces for agent control
- Build scalable backend services for real-time AI interactions
- Integrate LLMs and RAG into production-ready systems
- Establish best practices for testing and deployment
What you'll need
- 8+ years of hands-on full-stack production experience
- Prior experience leading or mentoring engineering teams
- Proficiency in React, TypeScript, and Node.js
- Backend development experience using Python
- Strong knowledge of AWS, GCP, or Azure infrastructure
- Understanding of AI-powered applications and agentic workflows
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-autonomy environments
Nice to have
- Experience building apps with LLM integrations
- Background in high-performance startups or enterprise AI
- Strong UI/UX design skills for intuitive interfaces
- Experience with GraphQL, WebSockets, or real-time streaming
- Contributions to open-source projects or AI developer tools
