  • Senior level

You will collaborate with model researchers and infrastructure engineers to ensure high-quality data production at petabyte scale. Your work focuses on building processing pipelines, optimizing compute usage, and establishing validation checks that directly influence model behavior.

The team aims to train fundamental World Models using the best available data. You will bridge the gap between research questions and production engineering, ensuring experiments are reproducible and systems are efficient.

What you'll do

  • Define data quality metrics and acceptance thresholds with researchers
  • Curate open source and internal datasets for World Models
  • Build algorithms for automated quality assessment and domain adaptation
  • Track dataset provenance and versions for reproducible experiments
  • Manage CI/CD and tooling for the data stack
  • Optimize throughput, storage, and compute utilization

What you'll need

  • Strong fundamentals in ML and deep learning
  • Experience operating large-scale data or compute systems
  • Ability to transition between research analysis and production engineering
  • Proven experience with data composition and dataset releases
  • Skill in designing experiments with unbiased outcomes
  • Practical knowledge of distributed processing tools like Spark or Ray
  • Solid Python skills and familiarity with model training workflows
  • Strong instinct for measuring and monitoring data quality

Nice to have

  • Experience with large video datasets
  • Background in dataset curation for training
  • Experience building internal evaluation tooling for ML
