Join the Machine Learning Team at Weave to democratize AI tools for developers. You will build scalable models and internal platforms that enable product teams to integrate AI features safely. The team focuses on making large datasets accessible and machine learning approachable without requiring deep data science expertise.
What you'll do
- Design and develop ML infrastructure, tooling, and models for product teams
- Build internal platforms to help teams incorporate AI into customer-facing features
- Consult with stakeholders on ML patterns, anti-patterns, and tradeoffs
- Create scalable services for data integration and event processing
- Write high-quality, performant, and testable code for distributed systems
- Coach colleagues and share expertise to encourage best practices
- Translate product goals into actionable engineering plans
What you'll need
- 3-5 years of experience in Machine Learning or AI, preferably NLP
- Experience handling TBs of data or hundreds of millions of records
- Proficiency with Python, Jupyter, and workflow engines like Dagster or MLFlow
- Knowledge of LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, and fine-tuning techniques
- Experience building and deploying B2B multi-tenant ML applications at scale
- Understanding of distributed systems and scalable service design
- Experience with public cloud environments such as AWS or GCP
- Track record of delivering complex projects in enterprise production environments
Nice to have
- Experience with real-time audio models, ASR, or speech synthesis
- Knowledge of Model Context Protocol (MCP) and emerging technologies
- Proficiency with Kubernetes, GKE, and the Operator Pattern
- Experience handling sensitive data such as PHI or PII
- Background in data analysis, visualization, and presentation
- Experience with GitOps, IaC, and configuration-driven systems
