Join Solvd Inc., an AI-native consulting firm, to work on a high-scale social news aggregation platform. You will build and maintain mobile automation suites, ensuring quality across iOS and Android applications through rigorous testing and CI/CD integration.
What you'll do
- Design and execute automated and manual tests for mobile apps
- Build automation suites using XCUITest and Espresso
- Perform functional, regression, and exploratory testing
- Diagnose defects and partner with engineering on root causes
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- Develop test plans, cases, and release-quality reports
- Collaborate with developers and product managers in Agile cycles
- Identify cross-platform risks and provide test coverage
What you'll need
- 4+ years building or maintaining mobile automation frameworks
- Advanced hands-on experience with XCUITest and Espresso
- Strong experience testing iOS and Android applications
- Experience integrating scalable automation into CI/CD pipelines
- Deep knowledge of mobile QA methodologies and SDLC
- Understanding of device fragmentation, networking, and app lifecycle
- Ability to create test plans from product requirements independently
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum with frequent releases
- Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and test-management systems
Nice to have
- Experience testing social or community platforms at scale
- Testing experience across iOS, Android, web, and mobile web
- Background in API testing and backend validation
- Experience with feature flags, personalization, and feeds
- Supporting weekly production release cycles
