Join the Platform team at Helius to optimize the foundation of their high-performance services running on bare metal. You will automate server provisioning, refine deployment tooling, and execute security initiatives to ensure the fleet is efficient, safe, and reliable.
This intermediate-level position offers significant growth potential and does not require prior blockchain experience. The team values ownership and rapid learning, focusing on building robust infrastructure that supports major clients in the Solana ecosystem.
What you'll do
- Automate end-to-end server lifecycle including provisioning and decommissioning
- Build tooling to prevent manual machine configuration by engineers
- Standardize software build and deploy processes via CI pipelines
- Implement security measures like SSO, secrets management, and audit trails
- Analyze fleet costs and provide hardware refresh recommendations
- Enhance observability and participate in on-call incident response
- Write documentation and runbooks for remote team operations
What you'll need
- 3+ years in infrastructure, DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering
- Hands-on experience with bare metal servers and hardware debugging
- Deep knowledge of Linux fundamentals, networking, and storage
- Proficiency with configuration management and infrastructure-as-code
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Go, Bash, or similar languages
- Security-first mindset regarding access control and blast radius
- Demonstrated ownership and ability to automate repetitive tasks
Nice to have
- Experience with Rust or interest in debugging Rust services
- Background in high-performance networking or low-latency systems
- Familiarity with ClickHouse, Prometheus, or Grafana
- Previous work at a high-scale B2B infrastructure company
