As an Education Cloud Architect, you will define scalable solution architectures and lead discovery workshops for universities and colleges. You will partner with client leadership to align technology investments with institutional goals, covering areas from admissions to alumni relations.
This position requires deep expertise in the Salesforce ecosystem and higher education business processes. You will drive best practices in data architecture, integration, and security while mentoring technical teams and contributing to pre-sales activities.
What you'll do
- Lead end-to-end solution architecture for Education Cloud implementations
- Serve as strategic advisor to executive stakeholders and business sponsors
- Facilitate discovery workshops to define future-state requirements
- Develop scalable solution designs, data models, and roadmaps
- Architect solutions for admissions, student success, and advancement
- Define enterprise data architecture, governance, and security models
- Lead data migration strategy from legacy student information systems
- Mentor consultants and promote architectural standards across the practice
What you'll need
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- 7+ years of experience with the Salesforce platform
- 3+ years in a Solution Architect or Lead Consultant role
- Deep expertise in Education Cloud and higher education processes
- Strong understanding of person accounts and student lifecycle management
- Experience designing enterprise-scale solutions with complex integrations
- Proficiency in Flow, OmniStudio, and Experience Cloud
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills
Nice to have
- Salesforce Education Cloud Consultant Certification
- Salesforce Application or System Architect Certification
- Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant Certification
- Experience with Student Information Systems and ERP platforms
- Background in enterprise data migration and modernization
- Experience supporting pre-sales and executive presentations
