You will define the vision and roadmap for security-focused features, ensuring products are robust and meet customer needs. This position requires translating complex security requirements into clear specifications while collaborating with engineering, design, and go-to-market teams.
What you'll do
- Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap for security features
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform decisions
- Collaborate with engineering, design, sales, and marketing teams
- Translate security requirements into product specifications and user stories
- Prioritize backlog to optimize business value and customer satisfaction
- Drive launch activities including go-to-market strategy and documentation
- Monitor performance and iterate based on data and user feedback
- Act as internal subject matter expert for security topics
What you'll need
- 8+ years in B2B SaaS product management with security focus
- Proven experience with database security principles
- Strong understanding of networking concepts for security
- In-depth knowledge of identity and access management
- Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+
- Experience in quality assurance processes and methodologies
- Solid background in program management and risk management
- Prior experience in security engineering is required
Nice to have
- Experience securing data platforms or real-time analytics services
- Familiarity with ClickHouse, Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift
- Experience supporting BYOC or private deployment models
- Background working with open source or developer-focused products
