As the first dedicated TPM on the Networking team, you will define the roadmap for Vultr’s networking portfolio. You will partner with engineering leadership to translate complex infrastructure capabilities into customer-facing products, covering areas like private connectivity, DDoS mitigation, and AI-focused networking.
What you'll do
- Drive product strategy and roadmap for VPC, routing, NAT, and firewall features
- Align customer needs with technical architecture and engineering capacity
- Translate infrastructure capabilities into clear requirements and user stories
- Define requirements for cross-region connectivity and RDMA/RoCE services
- Lead cross-functional initiatives across engineering and business teams
- Differentiate the networking platform for cloud, enterprise, and AI use cases
- Partner with marketing and sales to ensure go-to-market readiness
- Communicate technical tradeoffs and priorities to senior leadership
What you'll need
- Significant PM experience in cloud infrastructure or distributed systems
- Experience as a senior or principal individual contributor
- Strong knowledge of EVPN-VXLAN, VRFs, routing, and NAT
- Familiarity with VPCs, transit networking, peering, and SDN
- Ability to turn complex technical problems into product strategies
- Proven skill in influencing stakeholders without direct authority
- Comfortable building structure in ambiguous environments
Nice to have
- Experience with high-performance networking or GPU/AI infrastructure
- Knowledge of RDMA, RoCE, or cluster networking

How you'll work
- Fully remote position
- $500 stipend for remote office setup in first year
- $400 annual stipend for subsequent years
