You will define how Pod Network's products feel, covering trading interfaces, wallets, and dashboards. This position focuses on identifying user needs, creating rapid prototypes using AI, and guiding external designers to ensure high-quality outcomes.
The team values speed and autonomy, expecting you to jump into the codebase for small tweaks and work closely with protocol engineers. You will hold the vision for product surfaces from initial concept through to launch.
What you'll do
- Own the vision and feel of all product surfaces from idea to launch
- Interview traders to understand usage patterns and prioritize features
- Create rapid prototypes using AI tools, no-code, or rough builds
- Define initial design direction and guide external design teams
- Make small code changes to test ideas and improve user experience
- Identify and resolve usability issues proactively
- Collaborate with engineers on API and SDK product requirements
What you'll need
- Strong product sense to translate vague problems into concrete solutions
- Ability to create initial mockups and direct design quality improvements
- Comfortable navigating codebases for prototyping and minor tweaks
- Familiarity with TypeScript and React is helpful
- Understanding of trading products and user behaviors
- Proficient with AI tools for research, design, and coding tasks
- Proven track record of shipping products used by real people
Nice to have
- Experience building trading or financial apps with live data
- Background in crypto or DeFi sectors
- Previous product management experience
