Join Deepgram as a Product Designer II to shape the first impression of their Voice AI platform for developers. You will execute UI designs for the Playground and Console, working closely with senior designers to deliver high-quality interfaces.
The role demands strong visual craft and the ability to work within an established design system while handling edge cases. You will own assigned features end-to-end, ensuring consistency and clarity for technical users.
What you'll do
- Design and refine UI for Playground and Console experiences
- Execute feature-level work from direction to production handoff
- Apply the Cosmos design system consistently across surfaces
- Document design decisions and rationale for engineering teams
- Present work in critiques and provide feedback to peers
- Integrate AI tools into daily design workflows
What you'll need
- Strong UI craft with a portfolio showing visual judgment
- Experience taking feature work end-to-end independently
- Fluency in working within and extending design systems
- Clear written communication skills for design reasoning
- Comfort designing for technical or abstract product surfaces
- Active use of AI tools in daily professional practice
Nice to have
- Experience designing for developers, APIs, or SDKs
- Background in B2B SaaS with self-serve and enterprise models
- Prototyping skills beyond static screen designs
- Experience contributing to the evolution of a design system
- Interest in voice, audio, or real-time technology products
