Join BJAK's AI Finance team to build next-generation financial products for the Southeast Asian market. As a Product Engineer, you will bridge the gap between user needs and technical execution, owning specific product areas from conception to launch.
You will work with cross-functional teams to simplify complex financial workflows into intuitive customer journeys. This position demands high ownership, rapid iteration, and a data-driven approach to product development.
What you'll do
- Own product areas across insurance, payments, savings, or investing
- Define user problems, scope, success metrics, and roadmaps
- Collaborate with engineering, design, data, and compliance teams
- Translate complex financial products into simple user journeys
- Use data and feedback to drive product decisions and iterations
- Launch features and monitor performance for continuous improvement
- Balance speed, UX, business impact, and regulatory compliance
What you'll need
- Experience as Product Engineer, Product Owner, or similar role
- Strong product sense and ability to simplify complex workflows
- Proven ability to ship real products with engineers and designers
- Comfortable using metrics, experiments, and post-launch learning
- Excellent writing, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills
- High ownership with ability to drive work independently
- Strong English communication skills for global collaboration
Nice to have
- Background in fintech, insurance, or payments
- Experience with consumer apps or high-growth products
- Founder or growth operator experience
