BJAK is expanding its financial services beyond insurance into spending, saving, and investing. As a Product Engineer, you will own specific product areas, translating complex financial concepts into simple user journeys. You will work closely with engineering and design teams to ship products quickly and iterate based on data.
What you'll do
- Own product areas across insurance, payments, savings, or investing
- Define user problems, scope, success metrics, and roadmaps
- Collaborate with engineering, design, data, and compliance teams
- Simplify complex financial products into usable customer journeys
- Use data and feedback to drive product decisions and iterations
- Launch features and monitor performance for continuous improvement
- Balance speed, UX, business impact, and operational complexity
What you'll need
- Experience as Product Engineer, Product Owner, or similar role
- Strong product sense and ability to simplify complex workflows
- Ability to work with engineers and designers to ship real products
- Comfortable with metrics, user feedback, and experiments
- Strong writing, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills
- High ownership and ability to drive work with limited guidance
- Fluent in English for global team communication
Nice to have
- Experience in fintech, insurance, or payments sectors
- Background in consumer apps or high-growth products
- Founder or growth operator experience
