Join BJAK as a Product Engineer within the AI Finance division. You will take ownership of specific product areas, translating complex financial services into simple customer journeys. This position involves defining roadmaps, working closely with cross-functional teams, and driving continuous improvement post-launch.
The company is expanding beyond its roots as a leading insurance platform in Southeast Asia to include spending, saving, and investing tools. You will work with a global team while being physically located in Ireland.
What you'll do
- Own product areas across insurance, payments, savings, or investing
- Define user problems, scope, success metrics, and launch plans
- Collaborate with engineering, design, data, and compliance teams
- Simplify complex financial products into usable customer journeys
- Use data and feedback to drive product decisions and iterations
- Balance speed, UX, business impact, and operational complexity
What you'll need
- Experience as Product Engineer, Product Owner, or similar role
- Strong product sense and ability to simplify complex workflows
- Ability to work with engineers and designers to ship products
- Comfortable with metrics, experiments, and post-launch learning
- Strong writing, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills
- High ownership with ability to drive work with limited guidance
- Based in Ireland with strong English communication skills
Nice to have
- Experience in fintech, insurance, or payments sectors
- Background in consumer apps or high-growth products
