Join BJAK as a Product Engineer within the AI Finance division. You will take ownership of specific product areas such as insurance, savings, or investing, transforming complex financial services into simple customer journeys.
This position suits builders who prioritize user problems over feature lists. You will work closely with engineering, design, and data teams to ship real products, measure success, and iterate quickly based on feedback.
What you'll do
- Own product areas across insurance, payments, savings, or investing
- Define user problems, scope, metrics, and roadmaps
- Collaborate with engineering, design, and compliance teams
- Simplify complex financial products into usable journeys
- Use data and feedback to drive product decisions
- Launch features and monitor performance for iterations
- Balance speed, UX, business impact, and compliance
What you'll need
- Experience as Product Engineer, Owner, or founder
- Strong product sense and ability to simplify workflows
- Ability to work with engineers to ship real products
- Comfortable with metrics, experiments, and post-launch learning
- Strong writing, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills
- High ownership and ability to work with limited guidance
- Based in the Netherlands
- Strong English communication skills
Nice to have
- Experience in fintech, insurance, or payments
- Background in consumer apps or high-growth products
