BJAK is expanding beyond its leading insurance platform in Southeast Asia to help users manage spending, saving, and investing. As a Product Engineer in the AI Finance division, you will bridge the gap between user needs and technical execution.
You will own specific product verticals, defining scope and success metrics while working closely with design and engineering teams. The focus is on simplifying complex financial journeys and iterating quickly based on data and feedback.
What you'll do
- Own product areas across insurance, payments, savings, or investing
- Define user problems, product scope, and success metrics
- Collaborate with engineering, design, and compliance teams
- Translate complex financial products into simple user journeys
- Use data and feedback to drive product decisions and iterations
- Balance speed, UX, business impact, and regulatory compliance
What you'll need
- Experience as Product Engineer, Product Owner, or founder
- Strong product sense and ability to simplify workflows
- Proven ability to ship real products with engineers and designers
- Comfortable using metrics, experiments, and user feedback
- Excellent writing, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills
- High ownership with ability to work with limited guidance
- Fluent English communication skills
Nice to have
- Background in fintech, insurance, or payments
- Experience with consumer apps or high-growth products
