Join BJAK's AI Finance team as a Product Engineer responsible for owning specific product areas such as insurance, savings, or investing. You will translate complex financial concepts into simple user journeys, working closely with engineering and design teams to ship and iterate on products.
This position suits builders who prioritize user problems over feature lists and can drive execution with limited guidance. You will use data and feedback to make trade-offs between speed, compliance, and user experience.
What you'll do
- Own product areas across insurance, payments, savings, or investing
- Define user problems, scope, success metrics, and roadmaps
- Collaborate with engineering, design, data, and compliance teams
- Simplify complex financial products into usable customer journeys
- Use data and feedback to improve product decisions post-launch
- Monitor feature performance and drive continuous iterations
What you'll need
- Experience as Product Engineer, Product Owner, or similar role
- Strong product sense and ability to simplify complex workflows
- Ability to work with engineers and designers to ship products
- Comfortable with metrics, experiments, and post-launch learning
- Strong writing, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills
- High ownership and ability to drive work with limited guidance
- Based in Sweden with strong English communication skills
Nice to have
- Experience in fintech, insurance, or payments sectors
- Background in consumer apps or high-growth products
