Join BJAK as a Product Engineer focused on AI Investing and other financial services. You will own specific product areas, defining scope and success metrics while working closely with engineering and design teams. The goal is to turn complex financial products into simple, usable customer journeys for users in Southeast Asia.
This position suits builders who prioritize user problems over feature lists and can make decisions with incomplete information. You will launch features quickly, monitor performance, and iterate based on data and feedback. Strong English communication skills are required for this global team.
What you'll do
- Own product areas across insurance, payments, savings, or investing
- Define user problems, product scope, and success metrics
- Collaborate with engineering, design, data, and compliance teams
- Translate complex financial products into simple user journeys
- Use data and feedback to improve product decisions
- Launch features and drive iterations based on performance
- Balance speed, UX, business impact, and compliance needs
What you'll need
- Experience as Product Engineer, Owner, or similar role
- Strong product sense and ability to simplify workflows
- Ability to work with engineers to ship real products
- Comfortable with metrics, experiments, and post-launch learning
- Strong writing, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills
- High ownership and ability to work with limited guidance
- Fluent English communication skills
Nice to have
- Experience in fintech, insurance, or payments
- Background in consumer apps or high-growth products
- Founder or growth operator experience
