Doit aims to make finance smart, accessible, and safe through AI-driven tools for spending, saving, and investing. As a Product Engineer, you will own specific product domains, translating complex financial concepts into simple user journeys while working closely with cross-functional teams.
You will define product scope, success metrics, and launch plans, using data and feedback to drive iterations. This role requires high ownership and the ability to ship quickly without waiting for perfect information.
What you'll do
- Own product areas across insurance, payments, savings, or investing
- Define user problems, scope, metrics, and roadmaps
- Collaborate with engineering, design, data, and compliance teams
- Simplify complex financial products into usable customer journeys
- Use data and feedback to improve product decisions post-launch
- Balance speed, UX, business impact, and compliance needs
What you'll need
- Experience as Product Engineer, Owner, founder, or operator
- Strong product sense and ability to simplify workflows
- Ability to work with engineers and designers to ship products
- Comfortable with metrics, experiments, and post-launch learning
- Strong writing, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills
- High ownership with ability to drive work independently
- Fluent English communication skills
Nice to have
- Experience in fintech, insurance, or payments
- Background in consumer apps or high-growth products
