Join BJAK as a Product Engineer to shape the future of its AI Neobank. You will take ownership of specific product domains, translating complex financial services into simple user journeys. This position demands a builder mindset, focusing on execution, data-driven decisions, and continuous improvement post-launch.
The team operates globally with a strong emphasis on English communication. While the work is remote, you must reside in Spain to align with local market hiring goals. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, compliance, and operations.
What you'll do
- Own product areas across insurance, payments, savings, or investing
- Define user problems, scope, success metrics, and roadmaps
- Collaborate with engineering, design, data, and compliance teams
- Simplify complex financial products into usable customer journeys
- Use data and feedback to drive product decisions and iterations
- Launch features and monitor performance for continuous improvement
- Balance speed, UX, business impact, and compliance requirements
What you'll need
- Experience as Product Engineer, Owner, or similar role
- Strong product sense and ability to simplify workflows
- Ability to work with engineers and designers to ship products
- Comfortable with metrics, experiments, and post-launch learning
- Strong writing, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills
- High ownership and ability to work with limited guidance
- Fluent English communication skills
Nice to have
- Experience in fintech, insurance, or payments
- Background in consumer apps or high-growth products
- Founder or growth operator experience
