BJAK is expanding beyond its leading insurance platform in Southeast Asia to help users manage spending, saving, and investing. As a Product Engineer in the AI Stockbroking team, you will bridge the gap between user needs and technical implementation. You will define roadmaps, simplify complex financial workflows, and ship products that improve daily financial health.
What you'll do
- Own product areas across insurance, payments, savings, or investing
- Define user problems, scope, success metrics, and launch plans
- Collaborate with engineering, design, data, and compliance teams
- Translate complex financial products into simple customer journeys
- Use data and feedback to refine product decisions post-launch
- Balance speed, UX, business impact, and regulatory compliance
What you'll need
- Experience as Product Engineer, Product Owner, or founder
- Strong product sense with ability to simplify complex workflows
- Proven ability to ship real products with engineers and designers
- Comfortable using metrics, experiments, and user feedback
- Excellent writing, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills
- High ownership with ability to work autonomously
- Based in Australia with strong English communication skills
Nice to have
- Background in fintech, insurance, or payments
- Experience with consumer apps or high-growth products
