You will own specific product areas within BJAK's AI Stockbroking platform, focusing on insurance, payments, savings, or investing. Your goal is to translate complex financial concepts into simple user journeys by working closely with engineering, design, and data teams.
The team values builders who prioritize user problems over feature lists and can make decisions with incomplete information. You will define success metrics, launch features rapidly, and iterate based on production data and user feedback.
What you'll do
- Own product areas across insurance, payments, savings, or investing
- Define user problems, scope, success metrics, and roadmaps
- Collaborate with engineering, design, data, and compliance teams
- Simplify complex financial products into usable customer journeys
- Use data and feedback to drive product decisions and iterations
- Balance speed, UX, business impact, and operational complexity
What you'll need
- Experience as Product Engineer, Owner, founder, or similar role
- Strong product sense and ability to simplify complex workflows
- Proven ability to ship real products with engineers and designers
- Comfortable using metrics, experiments, and post-launch learning
- Strong writing, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills
- High ownership with ability to work with limited guidance
- Based in Austria with strong English communication skills
Nice to have
- Experience in fintech, insurance, or payments sectors
- Background in consumer apps or high-growth products
