BJAK is expanding beyond its leading insurance platform in Southeast Asia to help users manage spending, saving, and investing. As a Product Engineer in the AI Stockbroking team, you will bridge the gap between user needs and technical implementation.
You will define product scope, work closely with design and engineering teams, and launch features that simplify complex financial journeys. This position demands high ownership and the ability to make decisions with incomplete information.
What you'll do
- Own product areas across insurance, payments, savings, or investing
- Define user problems, success metrics, and launch plans
- Collaborate with engineering, design, data, and compliance teams
- Simplify complex financial products into usable customer journeys
- Use data and feedback to drive product decisions and iterations
- Balance speed, user experience, and operational complexity
What you'll need
- Experience as Product Engineer, Product Owner, or founder
- Strong product sense and ability to simplify workflows
- Proven ability to ship real products with engineers and designers
- Comfortable using metrics, experiments, and post-launch learning
- Strong writing, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills
- High ownership with ability to drive work independently
- Based in Ireland with strong English communication skills
Nice to have
- Experience in fintech, insurance, or payments
- Background in consumer apps or high-growth products
