You will own specific product domains within Doit's AI-driven financial platform, such as investing, payments, or insurance. Your focus will be on translating complex financial concepts into simple user journeys while working closely with design and engineering teams.
The position demands high ownership, requiring you to define success metrics, manage trade-offs between speed and compliance, and drive iterations based on data and user feedback. You will operate with autonomy to solve user problems rather than just executing feature lists.
What you'll do
- Own product areas across insurance, payments, savings, or investing
- Define user problems, scope, success metrics, and roadmaps
- Collaborate with engineering, design, data, and compliance teams
- Simplify complex financial products into usable customer journeys
- Use data and feedback to improve product decisions post-launch
- Make trade-offs between speed, UX, business impact, and compliance
What you'll need
- Experience as Product Engineer, Product Owner, or founder
- Strong product sense and ability to simplify complex workflows
- Ability to work with engineers and designers to ship products
- Comfortable with metrics, experiments, and post-launch learning
- Strong writing, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills
- High ownership with ability to drive work with limited guidance
- Based in Australia with strong English communication skills
Nice to have
- Experience in fintech, insurance, or payments sectors
- Background in consumer apps or high-growth products
