You will own the final stage of tax compliance, managing the process from return preparation to fund delivery to tax authorities. Your work involves designing a self-healing filing platform capable of handling massive global volume and enabling international sellers to remit payments via local bank accounts.
What you'll do
- Build a scalable filing platform where most returns are fully automated with zero human touch
- Integrate AI agents to write automations, detect issues, and repair problems proactively
- Develop remittance infrastructure allowing international sellers to pay from local bank accounts
- Manage end-to-end money movement across various currencies, banking partners, and jurisdictions
- Create tools for the internal TaxOps team to expand jurisdiction coverage efficiently
- Ensure high trust in the seller experience through accurate and on-time filings
- Optimize key metrics including cost per filing, on-time rates, and amendment frequency
- Evaluate potential for the filing engine to operate as a standalone platform
What you'll need
- At least 4 years of product management experience with 2+ years in B2B products
- Background in payments, fintech, money movement, or high-volume operational systems
- Strong systems thinking ability to design solutions that scale significantly
- Technical comfort working closely with engineers on automation infrastructure
- High attention to detail in areas where errors have financial consequences for customers
- General manager mindset with solid product and business instincts
- Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with operations, finance, sales, and leadership
- Proactive approach to identifying needs and leading plans for team success
- Practical experience experimenting with or building applications using AI tools
