You will shape how Thumbtack serves sophisticated, larger local service businesses by connecting the platform with their existing tools and creating scalable foundational experiences. Working within the Pro Activation & Success team, you will collaborate with partnerships and business development to turn integrations into growth channels.
The role requires owning the product vision and roadmap for this segment, ensuring that complex businesses can succeed on a platform originally designed for smaller entities. You will balance near-term opportunities with durable technical foundations while leading cross-functional execution.
What you'll do
- Own product vision and roadmap for larger professional segments
- Use research and data to identify unmet needs and growth opportunities
- Set strategy for APIs, data integrations, and partner offerings
- Lead new products from discovery through launch and adoption
- Partner with engineering to balance near-term goals and technical foundations
- Align engineering, design, data, and commercial teams on priorities
- Define success metrics and scale high-potential growth levers
What you'll need
- 5+ years of product management experience with complex products
- Track record of turning ambiguous opportunities into clear strategies
- Strong technical fluency with APIs, data, and system tradeoffs
- Ability to translate complex business workflows into intuitive experiences
- Strong analytical thinking and business acumen for growth identification
- AI-first mindset with enthusiasm for agentic AI workflows
- Proven ability to influence and lead cross-functional stakeholders
