You will join Makai Labs to bridge the gap between business goals and technical execution. Your focus will be on maintaining clear product backlogs, writing detailed specifications, and ensuring engineering and design teams have the clarity needed to deliver high-quality features efficiently.
What you'll do
- Own and prioritize the product backlog to keep it actionable and current
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning and retrospectives
- Write detailed specs and acceptance criteria to guide development
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to align experience with business intent
- Track progress against goals and communicate updates to stakeholders
- Oversee testing and validation to ensure features meet criteria
- Analyze user feedback and metrics to iterate on products
What you'll need
- 5+ years of direct Product Owner or similar experience
- Strong understanding of Scrum and Agile product delivery
- Proven ability to write clear user stories and functional specs
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Highly organized with strong follow-through and proactivity
- Experience working cross-functionally in fast-moving environments
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and Figma
- Experience with SaaS, AI, or ML technologies
- Background in product marketing and go-to-market strategies
