Join BJAK as a Technical Product Owner to drive product areas within the AI Investing division. You will define user problems, manage roadmaps, and work closely with engineering and design teams to launch and iterate on financial products.
The company is expanding beyond insurance into savings, investing, and travel, aiming to help users get more from their money. This role requires high ownership and the ability to make decisions with incomplete information.
What you'll do
- Own product areas across insurance, payments, savings, or investing
- Define user problems, scope, success metrics, and launch plans
- Collaborate with engineering, design, data, and compliance teams
- Simplify complex financial products into usable customer journeys
- Use data and feedback to improve product decisions post-launch
- Balance speed, UX, business impact, and operational complexity
What you'll need
- Experience as Product Manager, Technical PO, or similar role
- Strong product sense and ability to simplify complex workflows
- Ability to work with engineers and designers to ship products
- Comfortable with metrics, experiments, and post-launch learning
- Strong writing, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills
- High ownership with ability to drive work independently
- Strong English communication skills for global teams
Nice to have
- Experience in fintech, insurance, or payments
- Background in consumer apps or high-growth products
- Founder or growth operator experience

- Based in Japan
- Hybrid model: office at least 3 days per week
