You will oversee the release process for Air Apps' global products, focusing on automating pipelines and maintaining high standards for software delivery. Working from the Lisbon office, you will coordinate with cross-functional teams to streamline release cycles and minimize risks.
What you'll do
- Manage and optimize release pipelines for smooth software deployments
- Define versioning strategies to ensure consistency across environments
- Coordinate with engineering and QA teams for stable releases
- Automate build and deployment processes to improve efficiency
- Monitor and troubleshoot release issues to minimize downtime
- Maintain documentation for workflows and rollback plans
- Implement feature flagging strategies for controlled rollouts
- Ensure compliance with security and quality standards
What you'll need
- 3+ years in release engineering, DevOps, or build management
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions
- Strong knowledge of Git and branching strategies
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash or Python
- Familiarity with mobile and web build systems like Xcode
- Ability to assess release risks and execute rollback strategies
- Experience working in agile, fast-paced environments
