You will oversee the release process for Air Apps' products, ensuring smooth updates and efficient deployment cycles. Working from the Lisbon office, you will collaborate with development, QA, and DevOps teams to automate pipelines and maintain high delivery standards.
What you'll do
- Manage and optimize release pipelines for smooth software deployments
- Define versioning strategies to ensure consistency across environments
- Coordinate with engineering and QA teams for stable releases
- Automate build and deployment processes to improve efficiency
- Monitor release issues and troubleshoot to minimize downtime
- Maintain documentation for workflows, rollback plans, and strategies
- Ensure compliance with security and quality standards in releases
- Implement feature flagging strategies for controlled rollouts
What you'll need
- 3+ years in release engineering, DevOps, or build management
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI
- Strong knowledge of Git and branching strategies such as GitFlow
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash, Python, or PowerShell
- Familiarity with mobile and web build systems like Xcode or Gradle
- Ability to troubleshoot build and deployment issues quickly
- Understanding of release risk assessment and rollback strategies
