As a Security Architect at BJAK, you will define security architecture across products, applications, and cloud platforms. You will partner with Engineering, Product, and Compliance teams to build secure systems that meet regulatory requirements in Southeast Asia.
You will lead threat modeling, design reviews, and implementation of security controls for AWS and GCP environments. Your work ensures the safety of millions of users accessing insurance and financial services through mobile-first platforms.
What you'll do
- Define security architecture, patterns, and standards for APIs and cloud environments
- Own architecture implementation aligned with SC TRM and BNM RMiT regulations
- Lead threat modeling and security design reviews for new products and integrations
- Design controls for IAM, network security, encryption, and threat detection
- Review web, mobile, and AI-enabled architectures for security and privacy risks
- Evaluate security technologies and advise engineering leaders on risk remediation
What you'll need
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in security engineering, architecture, or related security roles
- Experience implementing SC TRM and BNM RMiT requirements and audit remediation
- Strong knowledge of cloud security, IAM, networking, and distributed systems
- Familiarity with AWS, GCP, TypeScript, Node.js, Python, Swift, and Kotlin
- Experience with threat modeling and frameworks like ISO 27001, NIST, or OWASP
- Ability to translate technical risks into actionable plans for stakeholders
