As a Senior Analytics Engineer, you will own the end-to-end transformation pipelines, ensuring data integrity and performance at scale. You will define golden sets of transformations for customers while leveraging AI to accelerate development and documentation.
What you'll do
- Own the construction of client-facing data transformations to ensure scalability and speed
- Leverage AI tools to accelerate, improve, and document transformation workflows
- Design and evolve data integrity tests in collaboration with Engineering and Customer Success
- Partner with Customer Success to troubleshoot issues and understand reporting needs
- Refactor and optimize critical data models and pipelines to define team patterns
- Improve team processes and developer experience through code reviews and communication
What you'll need
- Track record of owning transformation pipelines for financial or operational data end-to-end
- Strong SQL skills and experience with dbt or similar transformation tools
- Comfortable with version control, testing frameworks, and deployment processes
- Ability to reason about data flow from source integration to consumption
- High agency with the ability to handle ambiguity and drive technical standards
- Clear communication skills for partnering with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience coaching others and contributing to hiring and onboarding processes
