Popl is redefining in-person go-to-market strategies by turning real-world interactions at events into measurable revenue. As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will own backend services, write high-quality code, and collaborate with the team to ensure the platform is secure, performant, and scalable.
What you'll do
- Write and deploy code for the Popl backend
- Collaborate on API usage, documentation, and testing
- Monitor logs and resolve issues promptly
- Partner with the team on infrastructure decisions
- Participate in daily engineering stand-ups
What you'll need
- At least 4 years of backend engineering experience
- Proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, SQL, and Restful APIs
- Experience with AWS or Google Cloud platforms
- Proven track record building scaled software systems
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
Nice to have
- Passion for writing high-quality, bug-free code
- Enjoyment of meeting new people
- Familiarity with conference environments
