Socure is constructing identity trust infrastructure for the digital economy, verifying identities in real time to prevent fraud. As a Senior Software Engineer in the Technology Center of Excellence, you will lead the design and deployment of high-performance software solutions.
You will act as a technical leader, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver secure and scalable products. The role involves mentoring junior staff, owning nonfunctional requirements like availability, and maintaining high engineering standards in an agile setting.
What you'll do
- Design and debug components for large-scale distributed systems
- Own scalability, availability, and security requirements
- Develop robust unit and integration tests for code coverage
- Create enterprise-class documentation for collaboration
- Break down complex tasks and execute plans effectively
- Elevate technology standards and apply best practices
- Mentor junior engineers and drive technical leadership
What you'll need
- 5-7 years of hands-on coding experience with Golang
- Strong programming fundamentals and problem-solving skills
- Experience architecting microservices and RESTful APIs
- Solid understanding of concurrency and multi-threading
- Excellent analytical and reasoning abilities
- Passion for continuous learning and building high-performance systems
Nice to have
- Experience with high-throughput, low-latency storage
- Background in cloud computing and NoSQL databases
- Familiarity with big data analytics or machine learning services
