Join the Cloud Scaling team to develop and maintain infrastructure that transforms ClickHouse into a fully functional serverless database solution. You will collaborate with the core database team to evolve the system into a cloud-native platform, ensuring high performance and scalability.
What you'll do
- Build a cloud-native database platform on top of public cloud infrastructure
- Develop an in-house Kubernetes operator for seamless infrastructure management
- Improve metrics pipelines and build systems for better statistics
- Partner with core development teams to support infrastructure use cases
- Architect robust, scalable, and highly available distributed infrastructure
What you'll need
- 5+ years of experience building scalable, fault-tolerant distributed systems
- Production experience with Go, C++, or Java
- Comfortable with PagerDuty on-call duties and production debugging
- Expertise with AWS, GCP, or Azure and their IaaS offerings
- Experience with data storage, ingestion, and transformation tools like Spark or Kafka
- Strong communication skills and ability to work across engineering teams
