You will collaborate with Software and Sales Engineering teams to research, design, and implement cloud systems and infrastructure strategies. This position focuses on delivering cloud components, managing policies, and ensuring security compliance for industrial automation solutions.
What you'll do
- Design and manage cloud systems, applications, and strategic policies
- Develop scalable architecture on IaaS and PaaS platforms
- Build and maintain infrastructure-as-code using Terraform or CloudFormation
- Deploy containerized workloads on EKS, ECS, and AWS Fargate
- Manage system configuration and patching via AWS Systems Manager
- Evaluate cloud solutions to identify best fits for the organization
- Integrate security and privacy requirements into hardware and software
- Participate in on-call rotation for customer-facing services
What you'll need
- 4-6 years of experience in cloud engineering
- Strong competence with Linux/Unix environments
- Hands-on experience with core AWS services
- Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform
- Experience deploying containers on Kubernetes, ECS, or Fargate
- Knowledge of security, storage, and disaster recovery protocols
- Familiarity with APM and monitoring tools like DataDog or New Relic
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Nice to have
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification
- Experience with Ansible for on-premises configuration management
