You will design, deploy, and manage realistic cyber range architectures that support concurrent training scenarios. Working with security researchers, you will build the technical foundation for high-fidelity simulations while ensuring isolation and resource efficiency.
The team focuses on creating emulated cloud services and automation frameworks for rapid environment reset. You will also provide technical guidance, documentation, and knowledge transfer sessions to customers and partners.
What you'll do
- Design and maintain local and cloud-based cyber range architectures
- Develop automation frameworks for rapid deployment and teardown using IaC
- Create emulated cloud services when direct integration is not feasible
- Maintain security controls and network isolation to prevent resource abuse
- Collaborate with content developers to translate training needs into specs
- Provide expert guidance on SimSpace software and document use cases
- Deliver customized knowledge transfer and training sessions to clients
- Travel occasionally to customer or partner locations (estimated 10%)
What you'll need
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required
- Expertise in virtual networking architecture, segmentation, and routing
- Knowledge of network security, firewalls, and secure connectivity solutions
- Practical experience with cloud architecture and implementation solutions
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools like Puppet and Ansible
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and VM deployment at scale
- Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and cloud cost management
- Strong problem-solving skills for debugging complex infrastructure issues
