Join a video game studio as a Senior Data Analyst to uncover insights from large sets of game telemetry data. You will bridge technical and non-technical teams, helping them leverage accurate data to improve player and developer experiences. This role requires deep curiosity, autonomy, and a passion for gaming.
What you'll do
- Analyze game telemetry to identify trends, security threats, and opportunities
- Translate stakeholder needs into actionable data solutions and business insights
- Serve as a bridge between technical and non-technical teams
- Build and analyze datasets using optimized SQL queries
- Develop a deep understanding of games through hands-on playtime
What you'll need
- Extensive experience writing optimized SQL for data analysis
- Proficiency with data visualization tools like Tableau or Looker
- Experience unifying disparate datasets from structured and unstructured sources
- Strong understanding of data modeling and quality practices
- Experience with Git and modern version control workflows
- Ability to conduct exploratory data analysis independently
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Python libraries such as Pandas and Airflow
- Experience with the GCP ecosystem including Kubernetes and PubSub
- Knowledge of Apache Spark or dbt
- Previous experience in the video gaming industry
- Interest in technical writing and sharing work
