As a Senior Data Engineer at SunnyData, you will support customers in their data journey by designing robust architectures and engineering pipelines. You will work directly with internal teams and clients to build solutions that enable accurate machine learning applications and business intelligence.
What you'll do
- Design and build complex data solutions for customer accounts
- Guide clients on technical decisions to meet their goals
- Operationalize data pipelines and apply transformations
- Implement data governance, security, and quality standards
- Collaborate with teams to educate end users on data products
- Resolve defects and incidents of moderate complexity
- Test data movement code and transformation components
What you'll need
- Five or more years in data engineering and product development
- Experience with Spark, Hadoop, or Kafka
- Knowledge of pandas, scikit-learn, or HPO
- Proficiency in SQL and data warehousing concepts
- Strong understanding of end-to-end analytics workflows
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering
Nice to have
- Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP platforms
- Databricks data engineering or ML certification
